24 Feb 2005, Sudan --- Approximately 52 small pyramids line the sandy deserts in central Sudan. They are reminants from an ancient Nubian Pharoh dynasty that ruled Egypt and Sudan thousands of years ago. Sudan is home to incredible archeological discoveries. Tombs, temples, and cities were built by the ancient dynasties of Egyptians, Nubians, and other North African civilizations over thousands of years. --- Image by Benjamin Lowy/Corbis |
